Same as it ever was.

 

There is nothing like making sense to yourself.

....at least that is how I feel at times.

If find myself in that state of mind as of late. While painting this year, I have noticed echoes from my work from previous years. Specific works are etched in my brain and I had no idea they were still there, meandering and fermenting even still.

I decided to dig up some pics, I apologize for the poor quality in the images as some of the paintings are no longer available to re-shoot, and set them here together with each other. This post places the paintings in pairs as I saw fit. 

This part of my current painting process has been validating and inspiring. I hope you can recognize and experience a similar interesting tour through these works that represent some of my efforts in recent years. Thank you.
